If you receive the "Something went wrong. Please try again later." error message on Wordtune, it may be caused by one of several reasons.

1) Many extensions installed simultaneously

If you have installed the Wordtune extension in Chrome, try removing the Wordtune extension from your browser. If you are still receiving the same message, try to uninstall and reinstall the Wordtune extension again. This should do the trick!

Check the video guide below to learn to remove the extension from your browser:

2) This may be a local issue

Please try uninstalling the app, clearing your cookies, cache, and site history for app.wordtune.com.

Here's a quick video guide about clearing your cookies, cache and site history:

After that done, reinstall the extension here.

Alternatively, this error might be happening if your browser was set to block third-party cookies during the Wordtune Sign-Up flow. If this was the case, please allow third party cookies temporarily, and go through Wordtune signup again, or even just click “skip for now” on the onboarding-signup page.

3) More than one device is using your Wordtune account at the same time.

You can have Wordtune installed on several devices, but it can only function on one at any given time. If so, it's important to make sure you are the only person that has access to your Wordtune account.
If you need to change passwords, please follow the instructions on this page.

4) You are reaching the minute, hourly or daily usage limit.

In order to protect our servers from overload, there's a limit to the minute, hourly and daily usage of Wordtune. This limit is the same for free and for premium users. Normal use of Wordtune shouldn't reach this limit, but if you do, please reach out to us via the messenger in the bottom right hand corner of this screen, describing the issue, and describing how you use Wordtune.
