Wordtune now recommends essential improvements to your text

The Wordtune Editor suggests textual improvements as you write.

As soon as you log in, the Suggested Edits panel will appear on the right. It will list different recommended changes in one of two colors, and underline them in your text.

  • Grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes will be marked in Red πŸ”΄

  • Various rewrite recommendations will be marked in Purple 🟣

πŸ’‘ Click on the underlined text or its associated card in the side panel to see what Wordtune suggests as a potential improvement.

Recommendations

These recommendations aim to better articulate your text, giving it a more natural sound and flow.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Enhance Vocabulary

  • Use Specific Words

    These recommendations suggest replacing generic words with specific ones that fit better in the context, adding sophistication and a professional touch to your writing.

  • Avoid Repetitions

    These recommendations suggest replacing words that appear several times in a paragraph with synonyms that fit perfectly in the context and lend a richer feel to your writing.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Improve Clarity

  • Sentence Splitting

    These recommendations help you avoid long and convoluted sentences. They suggest when it may be appropriate to split a long sentence into several shorter ones.

  • Conciseness

    You can streamline your text and make it easier to understand by using the "Concise" option, which eliminates unnecessary words, reduces redundancy, and ensures your message is clear and to the point.

Corrections

  • Grammar: Corrects grammatical errors, improving readability and professionalism.

  • Spelling: Fixes misspelled words for accuracy and clarity.

  • Punctuation: Ensures correct punctuation, clarifying meaning and improving flow.

  • Repetition: Replace repeated words with synonyms for a richer feel.

  • Missing Word: Identifies and suggests missing words for complete sentences.

  • Wrong Word: Corrects incorrectly used words for an accurate meaning.

✨ Want to temporarily hide one of the Suggested Edits categories from your document? Not a problem

Click the filter button at the top-right corner of the Editor's side panel. This will open up the Notes Visibility menu.

Clicking on the button next to each category will hide corrections from your document. You can always reveal a hidden category by re-clicking the "Hide" button in the Notes Visibility menu. To quickly reveal all of the hidden categories at once, click the "Show All" button at the bottom of the side panel.

Note that the number of hidden notes will be shown at the bottom of the side panel.
