Wordtune recommends textual improvements as you write within the Editor.

After logging in, you will notice a panel on the right-hand side titled Editor's Notes. Wordtune will list there different recommended changes, which will also be underlined in your text in one of two colors:

  • Grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes will be marked in Red.

  • Various rewrite recommendations will be marked in Purple.

To see what Wordtune suggests as a potential improvement, you can either click the underlined text or its associated card within the side panel. Clicking on a suggestion will replace the original.

The rewrite recommendations currently available include:

  • Increase Fluency

These recommendations aim to better articulate your text, giving it a more natural sound and flow.

  • Enhance Vocabulary

    • Use Specific Words

    • Avoid Repetitions

These recommendations suggest replacing words that appear several times in a paragraph with synonyms that fit perfectly in the context and lend a richer feel to your writing.

  • Improve Clarity

    • Sentence Splitting

These recommendations help you avoid long and convoluted sentences. They suggest when it may be appropriate to split a long sentence into several shorter ones.
